OUR RECIPIENTS

Direct grantees, selected content creators and expression cash award contests.

The Foundation Support Three Types of Recipients

1. Direct Grantee Recipients

The Foundation provides small grants to 501c3 whose work aligns with our mission. We look for highly professionally run organizations with low overhead and measurable, direct benefit to others. Grant seekers should submit a sufficient grant request proposal that explains in less than 5 pages (or five slides):

  1. The problem your organization addresses
  2. The solution your organization uniquely provides to address it
  3. The Key Performance Indicators you use to demonstrate success
  4. Profiles of key leadership
  5. Funding requested and use of funds.

This is the smallest element of what our foundation does, and our funding for it is limited.  We cannot acknowledge all requests due to very limited staffing and will only reach out for more information if we are interested.  We review submitted grant requests monthly.

Organizations we have supported in the past include but are not limited to:

  • Code of Vets
  • Moms for Liberty
  • Braver Angels
  • The Clairmont Institute.
  • Reason Foundation

2. Selected Content/Community Creators

We are developing a Shared Services Platform Project for talented and passionate content/community creators whose work supports our mission. Selected creators may be eligible for a creative stipend and operational support to ramp their content creation to an audience of 250k within 18 months. Our intention is that the audience of content/community members will in time move to both online and in-person meet-ups, in order to strengthen social and community bonds.

We are in the process of developing this program further but would welcome expressions of interest in the form of a 2–5-page overview of a content creators (or want to be content creators) area of passion and how you see it being in synergy with our mission.

Sense of Mind – With Andrew Cooper-Sansone

The Sense Of Mind Youtube channel is aimed at finding greater peace of mind and improving your life by learning about your brain.

The goal of this channel is to give you an accurate and clear picture of how the brain and mind work at various levels of analysis. By carefully reading and reporting the science as Andrew understands it. He relies on the most up-to-date literature reviews, textbooks, and studies, and always lists his references.

So be sure to subscribe on Youtube so you never miss anything from Sense of Mind. You can find Sense of Mind on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.

3. Expression Contests with Cash Awards

We are launching a series of Expression Contests for which participants will have an opportunity to win a cash award. These contests will include essay contests, short story contests, art or music contests. We will conduct these contests in conjunction with a 501c3 who will be responsible for putting up a contest publicity page/site, setting the criterion for judging with the foundation, processing and evaluating the submissions that meet the criterion, submitting the draft awardees to the foundation and publicizing the results.

We welcome proposals for an Expression Contest with Cash Awards. We cannot acknowledge all requests due to very limited staffing and will only reach out for more information if we are interested. We review submitted grant requests monthly. We expect that this segment of our work will expand most rapidly.
